O Porto de Manaus recebeu, nesta segunda-feira, (2/2), o navio de cruzeiro MS Insignia, que atracou no porto da capital amazonense com mais de 1.100 passageiros e tripulantes de diversas nacionalidades para impulsionar o turismo local durante a temporada de cruzeiros 2025/2026.
Com bandeira das Ilhas Marshall e operado pela armadora Oceania Cruises, o MS Insignia desembarca em Manaus com 803 turistas e 372 tripulantes, movimentando a economia local e ampliando a circulação de visitantes nos atrativos culturais, históricos e naturais da capital.
O navio integra a temporada de cruzeiros 2025/2026, que segue até abril deste ano, período que consolida Manaus como uma das principais paradas das rotas internacionais pela Amazônia.
O fluxo crescente de cruzeiros reforça o protagonismo da cidade no cenário turístico, especialmente após Manaus ser a única cidade brasileira selecionada entre os dez destinos em destaque na pesquisa internacional “Best Trending Destinations 2026”, que aponta os locais mais buscados e promissores para o turismo global, ampliando a visibilidade da capital amazonense no mercado nacional e internacional.
Com aproximadamente 180 metros de comprimento, o MS Insignia realiza um itinerário internacional que teve início em San Juan (Porto Rico), passou por Belém (PA) e segue para Parintins (AM), fortalecendo a rota amazônica de cruzeiros e ampliando a presença da região nos principais circuitos turísticos internacionais.
Cruise MS Insignia docks in the Port of Manaus and reinforces the capital as destination of international tourism
The Port of Manaus received, on Monday, (2/2), the cruise ship MS Insignia, which docked in the port of the capital Amazon with more than 1,100 passengers and crew of various nationalities to boost the local tourism during the cruise season 2025/2026.
With Marshall Islands flag and operated by the shipowner Oceania Cruises, MS Insignia lands in Manaus with 803 tourists and 372 crew members, moving the local economy and expanding the circulation of visitors in the cultural, historical and natural attractions of the capital.
The ship integrates the cruise season 2025/2026, which follows until April this year, period that consolidates Manaus as one of the main stops of international routes by the Amazon.
The increasing flow of cruises reinforces the role of the city in the tourist scene, especially after Manaus is the only Brazilian city selected among the ten destinations highlighted in the international research “Best Trending Destinations 2026”, which points to the most sought-after and promising locations for global tourism, expanding the visibility of the Amazon capital in the national and international market.
About 180 meters long, the MS Insignia carries out an international itinerary that began in San Juan (Porto Rico), passed through Belém (PA) and goes to Parintins (AM), strengthening the Amazonian cruise route and expanding the presence of the region in the main international tourist circuits.
