Diante do aumento no fluxo de passageiros com destino ao 58º Festival de Parintins, a Agência Reguladora de Serviços Públicos Delegados e Contratados do Estado do Amazonas (Arsepam) e o Instituto de Defesa do Consumidor (Procon-AM), em parceria com o Porto de Manaus, realizam, neste mês, uma ação conjunta de fiscalização e orientação no transporte hidroviário intermunicipal. A primeira operação ocorreu nesta semana, no Porto de Manaus, na Manaus Moderna e nas agências de venda de passagens.
O foco da ação foi verificar se as embarcações com destino à Ilha Tupinambarana estão respeitando o direito à gratuidade para Pessoas Idosas, Pessoas com Deficiência (PcD) e demais integrantes do grupo prioritário, além de fiscalizar os preços das passagens.
A iniciativa faz parte da Operação Parintins 2025, que intensifica a presença dos órgãos de controle durante o período de maior movimentação de passageiros rumo ao festival.
Port of Manaus and Arsepam carry out inspection and guidance action on boats
Faced with the increase in passenger flow to the 58th Parintins Festival, the Regulatory Agency of Public Services Delegated and Contracted of the State of Amazonas (Arsepam) and the Consumer Defense Institute (Procon-AM), in partnership with the Port of Manaus, perform, this month, a joint action of supervision and guidance in intermunicipal waterway transport. The first operation took place this week, in the Port of Manaus, in Manaus Moderna and in the ticket sales agencies.
The focus of the action was to verify whether vessels bound for the Tupinambarana Island are respecting the right to gratuitousness for the Elderly, People with Disabilities (PcD) and other members of the priority group, in addition to checking the prices of the tickets.
The initiative is part of Operation Parintins 2025, which intensifies the presence of control bodies during the period of greater passenger movement towards the festival.
