The Port of Manaus at this moment of immense pain, expresses its deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the tragic shipwreck Lima de Abreu XV.

At the end of 7 days of the accident, we joined in prayer to find the comfort necessary to go through the mourning, in the face of such a devastating loss in the context of the Meeting of Waters and that the memory of the victims be honored with respect and affection.

We also express our solidarity and hope to those still awaiting news of their missing loved ones. We recognize the tireless effort of the rescue task force that faces the complexities of the currents of the Negro and Solimões rivers to bring answers and some encouragement to families. The dedication of these professionals is a ray of light amid the darkness of this tragedy.

Our thoughts are with all the survivors and with the community of New North Olinda and Manaus, united in a chain of support and fraternity.
