Cruise Season: Manaus Port receives Ship Insignia, first of the season with almost 1.1 thousand tourists

O Porto de Manaus received on Monday (24/11), the first cruise of the season 2025/2026. The vessel transports 684 passengers and 400 crew members, totaling almost 1,100 tourists, and arrived at the Port of Manaus after stopping in the community Boca da Valéria, in Parintins. The arrival of the vessel marks the beginning of the program that should expand the tourist flow and move the state economy.

To receive visitors, necklaces of açaí seeds and maps of the city were distributed, with presentation of dancers characterized by indigenous people.

From the port of Manaus, the ship goes to the municipality of Parintins, on Tuesday, where will make a brief stop. The next cruise, MS Volendam will arrive in Manaus day 7 December.

Six ships are scheduled for this season, which should bring 4,043 passengers and 2,353 crew members. In total, 6,396 visitors will pass through the community Boca da Valéria, Parintins and Manaus throughout the programming.

According to Amazontur data, the estimate of direct revenue is approximately $260,000, equivalent to R$ 1.38 million. The indirect revenue shall reach R$ 6.93 million, totaling planned R-movement$ 8.31 million in the state economy.

The vessel cars 684 passengers and 400 crew members, totaling near 1,100 tourists, and arrived at the Port of Manaus after a stop at the Boca da Valéria community in Parintins. The ship’s arrival marks the beginning of a schedule expected to boost tourism flow and the state’s economy.

To welcome the visitors, açaí seed necklaces and city maps were distributed, agreed by a performance by dancers dressed in indigenous attire.
From the Port of Manaus, the ship will head to the municipality of Parintins this Tuesday for a brief stop. The next cruise, the MS Volendam, is scheduled to arrive in Manaus on December 7th.
